Community Guidelines & Moderation Policy

Standards for respectful, inclusive, and constructive participation across BlockEstateDAO’s official channels.

 

  1. Introduction

BlockEstateDAO is committed to fostering an open, engaging, and respectful community for all members. This Community Guidelines & Moderation Policy applies to all interactions within the official BlockEstateDAO Telegram and Discord channels.

The goal of these guidelines is to:

  • Promote constructive discussions about BlockEstateDAO, governance, staking, and DeFi.

  • Ensure a safe and inclusive environment for all participants.

  • Protect the integrity of the community by enforcing clear moderation standards.

By joining and participating in BlockEstateDAO’s Telegram and Discord, members agree to abide by these guidelines.

  1. Community Participation Rules

2.1 Respectful Communication

  • Treat all members with respect, even in disagreements.

  • No harassment, discrimination, or hate speech (including but not limited to race, gender, nationality, religion, disability, or sexual orientation).

  • Do not engage in personal attacks, insults, or defamatory remarks against other members, moderators, or project team members.

  • Keep discussions constructive and on-topic.

2.2 Spam & Self-Promotion

  • No excessive shilling of other projects or unrelated services.

  • No unsolicited advertisements, referral links, or promotional content.

  • If sharing other blockchain projects, ensure they are relevant to the discussion and provide context.

  • Affiliate links, pyramid schemes, or pump-and-dump promotions are strictly prohibited.

2.3 Security & Privacy

  • Never share personal information (wallet addresses, private keys, passwords, or KYC details) in public chat.

  • Avoid clicking unknown links—report suspicious activity to moderators.

  • Impersonation of team members, admins, or community members is strictly prohibited. Official team members will never ask for private keys or funds.

2.4 Misinformation & FUD

  • Do not spread false information, rumors, or unverified claims about BlockEstateDAO or its partners.

  • If you have concerns or doubts, ask respectfully—constructive criticism is welcome when backed by facts.

  • Moderators reserve the right to remove misleading content that could cause unnecessary panic or confusion.

2.5 Off-Topic & Political Discussions

  • Keep discussions relevant to BlockEstateDAO, governance, real estate tokenization, and DeFi.

  • Avoid political debates, religious discussions, or divisive topics unrelated to the DAO.

  • Light off-topic discussions are allowed in designated channels but should remain respectful.

  1. Moderation Policy

The BlockEstateDAO Moderation Team ensures compliance with these guidelines.

3.1 Enforcement Actions

If a member violates community rules, moderators may take the following actions:

  • Warning – A verbal or written notice for minor infractions.

  • Content Deletion – Removing spam, offensive, or misleading messages.

  • Temporary Mute – Restricting posting ability for a specified period.

  • Kick – Temporary removal from the group (rejoining possible).

  • Ban – Permanent removal from the community for severe or repeated violations.

3.2 Appeal Process

If you believe you were muted, kicked, or banned unfairly, you may appeal by contacting [Insert Appeal Contact]. Appeals will be reviewed within 48 hours, and decisions are final.

3.3 Moderator Conduct

Moderators must:

  • Enforce rules fairly and transparently.

  • Avoid abusing power or engaging in favoritism.

  • Respond to community concerns professionally.

  • Official updates will only be shared via BlockEstateDAO’s website, Telegram pinned messages, Discord announcements, and verified social media accounts.

  • Do not trust unverified sources or individuals claiming insider information.

  • If you suspect misinformation, report it to moderators.

  1. Reporting Violations

If you witness a rule violation or suspect a scammer, report it immediately by:

  • Tagging a moderator in Telegram or Discord.

  • Sending a direct message to an admin.

  • Using the report function (if available).

All reports are kept confidential, and action will be taken accordingly.

BlockEstateDAO reserves the right to update these guidelines as needed. Updates will be posted in Telegram and Discord announcements.
